Russell Wilson on Thursday tried to allay concerns that Jimmy Graham is not fitting in well with his new team.
Speaking with the media, the Seattle Seahawks quarterback reassured everyone that his chemistry with Graham is strong.
“We definitely have the chemistry. There’s no worries about that,” Wilson said via 710 ESPN’s Liz Mathews.
Wilson was also asked whether Graham is frustrated.
“No, no, not at all. He’s just a guy that wants to win,” Wilson said via The Seattle Times’ Bob Condotta.
Though Graham had 51 yards receiving and a touchdown in Week 1, he contributed just one catch in Week 2 and was only targeted twice. The diminished stats compared to his days in New Orleans probably bother Graham, but he might be more accepting of them if the team were winning. Unfortunately Seattle is 0-2, which probably exacerbates Graham’s frustration, which apparently is at a pretty high level.
