St. Louis Rams wide receiver Stedman Bailey is reportedly making progress with his recovery after he was shot in the head three weeks ago.
Bailey’s agent, Tony Fleming, told TMZ on Tuesday that Bailey has been taken out of the intensive care unit and is recovering at a physical therapy facility in Florida. Fleming says the 25-year-old has been walking and talking again and “getting back to himself.”
“He is getting his strength back and just taking it one day at a time,” Fleming said. “He is scheduled to be released out of the hospital on (Dec. 23).”
Fleming said Bailey has received tremendous support from the Rams since sustaining the gunshot wound, with the team constantly checking in with doctors and team officials coming to visit the receiver in the hospital.
When you read some of the details from the shooting, you get a better understanding of how fortunate Bailey is to be alive. We’re glad to hear his condition is improving.
