Pittsburgh Steelers backup quarterback Skylar Thompson was reportedly the victim of a violent crime ahead of the team’s game against the Minnesota Vikings in Dublin, Ireland.

Thompson was jumped and robbed in Dublin on Friday night, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. The quarterback suffered minor injuries but remained in Ireland for the Steelers’ Week 4 matchup with the Vikings.

A Steelers spokesperson said the team is working with NFL security to gather more information.

“We are aware of a situation involving Skylar Thompson on Friday night in Dublin,” spokesman Burt Lauten said. “We will have no further comment at this time as we are working with NFL security to gather more information regarding the incident.”

Thompson is currently the fourth quarterback on Pittsburgh’s depth chart behind Aaron Rodgers, Mason Rudolph and rookie Will Howard. Thompson has been on injured reserve since he suffered a hamstring injury during practice ahead of Week 2.

Thompson was with the Miami Dolphins for three seasons before he signed with the Steelers earlier this year. The former Kansas State quarterback started three regular-season games in Miami when Tua Tagovailoa was hurt and also got a start in a playoff game as a rookie.
