Stephen Jones: Cowboys want to build offense around Dak Prescott
The Dallas Cowboys are looking at ways to retool their offense after missing the playoffs, and they appear intent on building around their quarterback.
Cowboys vice president Stephen Jones said Monday that the team hopes to center the offense more around Dak Prescott going forward, in the belief that he can be one of the game’s elite players.
Cowboys VP Stephen Jones on @1053thefan said since the season ended, they've discussed how to make Dallas' offense more Dak Prescott-friendly. "Everybody here is all-in in terms of their belief that Dak can be a great player in this league and will be."

Though the Cowboys have Ezekiel Elliott at running back, they clearly want to make sure Prescott can be at his best. That may involve moving on from some big names that Prescott simply hasn’t clicked with. Prescott is the future, and the Cowboys definitely want to maximize his potential.
