The Hall of Fame has been marketing Terrell Owens as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles in advance of this weekend’s enshrinement ceremony, but the former star receiver says that was by no choice of his own.
Players who are enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame are recognized for their careers as a whole, and they don’t have to represent one specific team like the Baseball Hall of Fame. Still, the decision-makers in Canton clearly consider Owens an Eagle.

T.O. was quick to point out that he wasn’t asked for his input on any merchandise being sold.
I had nothing to do with anything that they have there

Don't buy into what they're trying to do! I was told that they were selling items from the major teams that I played for

Owens, of course, has infamously decided to skip the Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony. There have been a number of theories about why he is snubbing the folks in Canton, but T.O. has shot some of them down.
