Terrell Suggs Wears Bart Scott ‘Can’t Wait’ Shirt, Could Play Fullback Sunday

Does the above photo have anything to do with the prospect of Terrell Suggs playing fullback against the Jets on Sunday night?  I guess it’s possible.  The shirt is obviously classic Bart Scott, who plays for the Jets.  It would also stand to reason that a linebacker would be excited to play some offense and potentially get their hands on the football.  The infamously outspoken Suggs compared the potential of him playing fullback to his being a play-maker like LeBron James.

“I am a defensive football player, so I only understand defense,” Suggs said. “What I do know is that [offensive coordinator] Cam [Cameron] is working me in on offense, getting some fullback — a little something to just try to get the ball in my hands. Like King James [the nickname for Miami Heat forward LeBron James], you get the ball in my hands, good things happen — with the exception of the [NBA] Finals. It’s cool. We’re working on something.”

Is that a shot at LeBron or a compliment? Sounds like both.  One thing we can say about the “Can’t Wait” shirt is at least it’s harmless — unlike this Steelers shirt Suggs once wore.
