Titans reveal their starting quarterback for Week 8
The Tennessee Titans are not expecting to have Will Levis back for Week 8.
Titans coach Brian Callahan did not officially rule Levis out for the team’s Week 8 game against the Detroit Lions. However, the coach made clear that he anticipates Mason Rudolph getting another start, with Levis still working his way back from a shoulder injury.
Callahan: We'll probably give Will Levis one more week to heal with shoulder.
Not official, but leaning toward Mason Rudolph for @Titans vs the @Lions.

Levis did not play in the team’s Week 7 game due to the same injury. Before that game, it was suggested he might be out for multiple weeks, so this is not necessarily a significant surprise.
Many Titans fans had been calling for Rudolph to get a look at quarterback even before Levis got hurt. In his first start of the season against the Buffalo Bills, he went 25/40 for 215 yards with one touchdown and one interception in a 34-10 loss. Things will not be any easier for him with his second start coming against the 5-1 Lions.
