Vic Fangio admits unique problem with becoming first-time head coach
There are a lot of things that one has to adapt to when become an NFL head coach for the first time. There’s control over the entire team, handling the locker room, and a lot of other factors.
There’s one issue that new Denver Broncos coach Vic Fangio has run into after spending so much time as a coordinator: coaching from the sideline is very different from coaching from a coach’s box.
Vic Fangio is a first time head coach and coaching from the sideline is a big change for him. He believes he doesn't see as much from the sideline as he does from the box. He’ll obviously deal with it, but it’s an adjustment he’s having to deal with.

It’s an interesting wrinkle that most probably don’t think of. Fangio will probably get used to it, and it will be less disorienting over time, but how else would he test the new challenge rules?
