Vontaze Burfict gets suspension reduced to three games
Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict got some good news on Wednesday.
According to ESPN’s Josina Anderson, Burfict’s five-game suspension has been reduced to three on appeal.

The NFL confirmed the news, adding some context to which rules were broken.

Burfict, who has a long history of controversial conduct that has been punished by the league, was originally hit with a five-game ban for a hit on Kansas City running back Anthony Sherman. It’s better than the original, but still a significant suspension.
