Max Homa has hilarious comment about Scottie Scheffler arrest
There were countless jokes over the weekend about Scottie Scheffler getting arrested before the second round of the PGA Championship, but Max Homa may have had the best.
Homa played fairly well at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Ky., but not well enough. He finished 8-under for the tournament, which earned him a tie for 35th place. Homa also finished five shots behind Scheffler, who somehow secured another top-10 despite everything that happened before his round on Friday.
After Homa completed his final round on Sunday, he shared some photos from the PGA Championship on Instagram. His caption was priceless.
“Frustrating week in KY. Lost to a guy who was literally in jail Friday morning. Tough look for me. The journey continues in Fort Worth next week,” Homa wrote.
Homa is known for having a great sense of humor, and that was definitely some of his best work.
Scheffler, of course, was arrested over what he says was a misunderstanding that led to a police officer being injured. He is scheduled to be arraigned at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, though it sounds like he may avoid any significant trouble.
