Gold Club Atlanta Part II – Sugarloaf Sex Scandal

It has been brought to my attention that the lovely Atlanta area is playing home to yet another sex-type scandal amongst its rich and famous crowd, not too far off from the Gold Club scandal of the mid 90s.  To give you a brief Gold Club refresher, former Knicks center Patrick Ewing testified against the Gold Club owner saying that the owner

“Lured celebrities to his club by providing them with free food, drinks and sex.”

Athletes such as former Broncos running back Terrell Davis, ex-NBA player Dennis Rodman, and current Rockets center Dikembe Mutumbo were also named as athletes who had engaged in sexual acts with women from the Gold Club.

Now we have the latest story to rock the Atlanta area, this one being called by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution the Sugarloaf Call-Girl Case (any suggestions for better names will be appreciated).  Here we have some of the details directly from the AJC:

“A former Penthouse Pet and an alleged business partner known as “Naughty Nikki” are accused of running a high-priced house of prostitution in one of metro Atlanta’s most exclusive communities, Sugarloaf Country Club.  Gwinnett County police on Wednesday arrested Lisa Ann Taylor, 42, at her million-dollar home. She and another woman were charged with prostitution, racketeering and drug offenses. The two allegedly were charging clients up to $10,000 for sex in the country club home, said Gwinnett District Attorney Danny Porter. They provided cocaine for some clients, Porter said.  The news buzzed through Sugarloaf, a gated community in Duluth that’s home to some of Atlanta’s wealthiest business executives, Braves and Falcons players, hip-hop artists and other celebrities. The Sugarloaf Country Club hosts the PGA’s BellSouth Classic golf tournament each May.”

Just for kicks, a few details on the accused ladies,

“Taylor is better known by the stage name Melissa Wolf, a Penthouse Pet of the Month in 1985 and star of several X-rated films.  Taylor’s alleged business partner, Nicole Alaine Probert, 30, of Lawrenceville, uses the names Naughty Nikki and Brigit Foxxx, according to her arrest warrant.”

My vote is to call this the Foxxxy Wolf scandal, but we can leave that for later.  Sources in Atlanta say Taylor was more of the madam in the case while Probert was running a side business in Lawrenceville that served as a cheaper alternative.  Here is a link to Taylor’s website (not safe for work).  They were complaints from people around the neighborhood that cars would be coming in-and-out, with people making short visits time-wise, and that women would parade around the house and backyard scantily clad – alarming many parents.

Through Wednesday, 6 men had been arrested mostly on drug distribution and/or pandering charges, and yes for those of you lexiconally-challenged individuals such as myself, pandering – pandering is code for pimping.

Check out the mug of one of the arrested men, Kerry Philip Kruzel (3 names) courtesy of the AJC:

At first glance I would never question this man’s innocence – I have seen the look of the guilty, and this is one wholesome looking individual.

Sources in Atlanta say more names are expected to start coming out as authorities continue to work on the case.
