Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston began dating his girlfriend Breion Allen, a Rice basketball player, while the two were in high school. When Winston was accused of rape last year, his defense was that he had sex with the accuser but it was consensual. The Florida state attorney announced on Dec. 5 that no charges would be filed. However, it is almost a certainty that Winston cheated on Allen.
Unless Winston and Allen were on some sort of relationship hiatus, he cheated on her. Despite that, it appears the couple has been able to overcome the situation. Winston attended Allen’s game against Marshall over the weekend and posted a photo of the two embracing after the win.
“Great game @ibreionnicole #support #mylilballer,” Winston wrote on Instagram.
Allen also posted a photo on her Instagram page (which is private if you don’t follow her) and called Winston her “boo.” She attended the Heisman Trophy ceremony in New York in December with Winston and spent time with him in New York City while they were there. By all indications, the couple is doing just fine.
