PK Subban admits to farting intentionally to distract opponents

PK-Subban

PK Subban is one of the best defenseman in the NHL, and he revealed one of his secrets earlier this week. I’m sure he puts in plenty of work both on and off the ice, but Subban is also a master at breaking wind.

Subban told a popular show in Quebec called “Tout le monde en parle” that he intentionally farts during games to give his team an advantage. I think he may have been serious.

P.K. Subban just admitted he intentionally farts in front of the net to annoy the opposition. I'm sure Carey Price must love that.

You would think Subban would fart in front of the other team’s net to distract the goalie, but NHL.com’s Apron Basu seemed to think he meant he does it in front of his own net. Wouldn’t that be more of a distraction to Carey Price?

In any event, the crop-dusting is such a premeditated act that Subban even knows what to consume before games to make himself as gassy as possible.

Subban said his pre-game coffee acts as a catalyst in his stomach, then he holds it in until game time so he can fart on the ice. Great.

We know Subban loves agitating opponents, as evidenced by that time he blew a kiss to a Boston Bruins player. But this takes it to another level. There’s a difference between getting under someone’s skin and getting all up in their nostrils. Subban apparently likes to do both.
