Cris Collinsworth demolishes Bill Simmons with tweet, deletes it
Being that this is the month where his highly-anticipated HBO show was officially cancelled after it was a total bust, Bill Simmons might want to lay low for a while rather than trying to roast people on social media. Cris Collinsworth gave Simmons a very unfriendly reminder of that on Monday afternoon.
During the Seahawks-Patriots game Sunday night, Simmons sent a tweet criticizing the way Collinsworth was giving Seattle’s offensive line so much credit.
Somebody needs to gently break the news to Collinsworth that the Pats have a weak front 7 and that's why Seattle's o-line looks good.

Collinsworth eventually caught wind of the shot Simmons took at him, and he fired back with an absolute haymaker. The NBC analyst quickly deleted the tweet, but it has since gone viral.

Game. Over.
Simmons has made a living off of sharing controversial takes and calling people out, but he walked right into that one. It’s actually not the first time he’s been roasted over his HBO show being a massive failure, as a WWE superstar said something similar last month.
The only problem with Collinsworth’s tweet is that he deleted it. Simmons deserved every word of it.
