Another week, another victory for Del. After an 8-4-2 week against the spread and another successful 2-1 in the top-3, it’s safe to say Del is rolling. As it stands, we’re only five games below .500 against the spread on the season. With another couple weeks of coming out on top, Del could very well be above the 50-percent range with successful selections. As you’ll see, Del is currently a dominant 19-11-3 in top-3 selections all year, meaning if you have been betting the locks your wallet is feeling pretty heavy. Here are Del’s Week 12 NFL Picks with more to come as the week progresses. As usual, remember to check back later in the week for Doc Brown’s picks.
(ATS = Against the Spread, SU = Straight Up)

The first team I’ve chosen as a lock this week is the New York Jets laying nine points at home against the Bills. The Jets likely need to win out if they want to make the playoffs, but can probably afford to lose one more game. They can’t have that loss come against the Bills, who have done a tremendous job of proving they were pretenders at the start of the season. New York handled Buffalo on the road and handed them a 27-11 loss the first time the two teams met, so there’s no reason to think a similar score won’t be the result at the Meadowlands. I expect the Jets’ defense to come up huge and allow their sub-par offense to relax. Oh yeah, and Fred Jackson is out for the season.
Another line that I like this week is the Texans laying 3.5 on the road against the Jaguars. Yes, I realize Matt Schaub is out and Matt Leinart will get the start. That being said, it could be worse. The Jaguars have been horrible all season and the Texans have blown teams out. Leinart is not very good, but he has experience starting in the NFL. The return of Andre Johnson should help cancel out the loss of Schaub.
Finally, I’m taking a chance on the Chargers giving six at home against the Broncos. One of these games, a fourth-quarter comeback from Tim Tebow won’t be able to hide how awful the Broncos’ offense is. Philip Rivers may be having an off year and is possibly playing hurt, but he still managed to put points up against the Packers and Bears. I may regret it, but I’m going big against Tebowmania this week. I expect San Diego to jump out to an early lead and Denver’s run-only offense to not get the job done.
