Missouri thief yells ‘Go Cards!’ after robbing bank
Cardinal fever is in the air in Missouri, even for thieves.
A man who robbed a bank in Arnold, Mo., on Friday yelled “Go Cards!” on his way out, according to the FBI.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch says the man went into the First Bank at 3850 Jeffco Boulevard at about 1:15 p.m. Friday, handed a teller a note demanding cash and walked out with money.
He reportedly never showed a weapon, but he did manage to wish the Cardinals well before Game 5 of the NLCS. Either that, or he was expressing support for the Arizona Cardinals before their game against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.
The man was described as a 5’7″ white male who looks like he could be in his late 30s. He was wearing glasses, a full beard, and a dark blazer over a dark top.
We’ve seen other amusing examples of thieves expressing support for teams, so this just further proves even criminals are sports fans.
