Ah, true love.
A cursory glance at Baltimore Orioles shortstop Manny Machado’s Instagram reveals that he really loves his wife, Yainee. It’s filled with selfies and wedding pictures and well-wishes and basically everything you’d expect from a starry-eyed young lover. However, Machado has taken it a step further and made a rather permanent statement of his affection by getting his wife’s face tattooed on his arm.
I am first struck by the size of the tattoo. After that, I am struck by the size of the flower. Make sure you keep that ink from any inside fastballs, Manny.
On the bright side, this is probably a safer commitment than Junior Gallette’s tattoo, and it will never need to be edited like Rex Ryan’s had to be. More power to the Machados, and may they have a long and happy marriage.
