Hulk Hogan reinstated to WWE Hall of Fame
The WWE announced major news on Sunday, saying they have reinstated legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan into the Hall of Fame.
Hogan’s reinstatement comes after a three-year suspension that began after Hogan’s racist tirade went public. Hogan resigned from WWE in light of the rant, while the company distanced themselves from him and scrubbed him from the website.
The WWE explained why they are giving Hulk a second chance.
“This second chance follows Hogan’s numerous public apologies and volunteering to work with young people, where he is helping them learn from his mistake. These efforts led to a recent induction into the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Alumni Hall of Fame,” the organization said in a statement.
Hulk is one of the most iconic wrestlers in the world and an important figure in the sport’s history.
