I’ll tell you something I’ll bet you didn’t know: the WNBA is in the middle of its finals right now. Not even joking. The mandatory WNBA headline on NBA.com must have failed us because I had no clue. Anyway, Cheryl Reeve’s Minnesota Lynx went into the fourth quarter Wednesday night down 74-69 to the Atlanta Dream. She was forced to give one of those in-game interviews between quarters, and to say she was fired up was an understatement. As CJ Fogler commented, Reeve goes from zero-to-60 in a matter of seconds. Invigorating stuff:
Reeve’s Lynx pulled things out with a big fourth quarter to take a 2-0 series lead. Let’s hope the postgame interview was far less intense. Game 3 of 5 is Friday night in Atlanta. I’m sure you’ll have your DVR set.
