New York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo has avoided serious injury after being hit on the pinkie finger by a pitch Sunday, according to a report.
According to Matt Ehalt of the Record, Nimmo, who was due for an MRI on Monday, did not suffer a serious injury on the hit by pitch, though no further detail was available.
