High schooler taking Nik Stauskas’ girlfriend Taylor Anderson to prom
The magic number for retweets needed to take an athlete — or the significant other of an athlete — to prom seems to be set at 10,000. Just ask Nik Stauskas, his girlfriend Taylor Anderson and one potentially lucky high schooler named Jamie Guerra.
On Wednesday night, Guerra tweeted at Stauskas to ask him how many retweets he would have to get in order to take Anderson to prom. Stauskas set the number at 10,000, and Anderson agreed.

Thanks to some help from other pro athletes, Guerra hit the number in about two hours. And it sounds like Anderson is going to follow through, but Guerra might end up being the third wheel.

I suppose Guerra will still be the coolest kid in school if he brings an NBA player and the player’s girlfriend with him to prom, but I think he was asking if he could take Anderson alone. Beggars can’t be choosers, I suppose.
