Isaiah Thomas takes another shot at Cavs over ‘adversity’
The Cleveland Cavaliers should probably start wearing sunglasses with all of the shade that Isaiah Thomas is throwing at them.
Speaking with the media on Monday, the Los Angeles Lakers guard praised his new teammates with a thinly-veiled shot at his former team that used the same “adversity” theme he spoke on when he was still with the Cavs. Here is what Thomas had to say this time around, per Ryan Ward of ClutchPoints.
Isaiah Thomas on Lakers’ young talent: "That makes it easier on the floor when you go to battle. When you hit adversity, you don't go your separate ways. You keep going, & I think in this org everybody's here to play for each other & have a positive mindset when it comes to it."

Thomas, who was traded by the Cavs to the Lakers at the deadline, was never quite the right fit for Cleveland on or off the court. Quotes like these also help illustrate the extent to which he may have contributed to drama in the locker room during his half-season there. Nevertheless, the former All-Star definitely seems to have recovered his mojo in the early going so far in Los Angeles.
