Isaiah Thomas has harsh words for Cavs after latest loss
Isaiah Thomas had some harsh words for his teammates following the team’s loss on Tuesday.
The Cavaliers on Tuesday lost their second game in a row, falling 116-98 to the Magic in Orlando. The Magic erased a 21-point deficit and outscored the Cavaliers 65-31 in the second half.
The loss for Cleveland was the 14th in the past 21 games. According to Isaiah Thomas, the team has not come together during the rough stretch. Following the game, Thomas said “when adversity hits, we go our separate ways.”

At 30-22, the Cavaliers are the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference. While the record is not terrible, Cleveland is clearly not playing to the level many expected at the start of the season.
The recent poor play has apparently not put head coach Tyronn Lue’s job in jeopardy. It has been reported Lue will not be fired. Lue also recently scoffed at the notion his team would fall short of making the playoffs this season.
