Even senior citizens are getting in on the fun of March Madness.
During No. 4-seeded Gonzaga’s first-round victory over No. 13-seeded UNC Greensboro on Thursday, an elderly woman in the Zags section went viral after being spotted on the TNT broadcast late game in the game. Gonzaga freshman guard Zach Norvell Jr hit a clutch three with 21 seconds left to snap a 64-64 tie and put the Zags ahead for good. The woman was seen celebrating the shot by pointing her arms to the sky and mouthing “Thank you, Father.”

Dubbed “Gonzaga Grandma,” she immediately became an Internet star.

With the Bulldogs in the same region as other heavy-hitters such as Xavier, Michigan, and North Carolina, they could probably use their matriarchal good luck charm for the rest of their tournament run. Now the only question is who you’re picking in the bracket matchup of Gonzaga Grandma vs. LSU Grandma.
