OK, let me get this out of the way first: he pleaded not guilty along with two other comrades on the charges, but they are expected to plead guilty eventually. Now onto the fun:

David Lighty and two of his former teammates on the Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School basketball team pleaded not guilty today (Wednesday) to misdemeanor charges of firing plastic BBs at a jogger on the school’s track last July.

Lighty and his friends, Jimmy McLeod and Darryl Rushton, both 19, were arrested after jogger James Nugent, 55, complained that one of the three had shot him in the back. He said he still jogs on VASJ’s track twice a week.

I mean seriously Lighty, who still uses a BB gun to take target practice? That is sooo 4th grade.
