Tate Forcier’s Girlfriend (Ex?) Elizabeth Wertenberger Crowned Miss Michigan

Tate Forcier’s recent run of negative news finally came to an end this weekend when his girlfriend (or former girlfriend), Elizabeth Wertenberger, was crowned Miss Michigan this weekend. Since last college football season, Forcier lost his starting quarterback job to Denard Robinson, fell to third on the Michigan depth chart, was academically ineligible for the team’s bowl game, transferred to Miami, decided not to go to Miami, and was hospitalized for a bizarre incident at an apartment building. The incident at the apartment building reportedly took place at his girlfriend’s, so it’s possible that the woman in question was Wertenberger.

In the Detroit Free Press’ story on Werternberger winning, they called her Forcier’s one-time girlfriend. They also report that Forcier was celebrating with her, so we’re taking that to mean the two are still on good terms and potentially dating. Here are more pictures of Elizabeth Werternberger:
