Is there any doubt that Washington Nationals fever has caught on around the nation’s capital?
A couple living in Rockville, Md., recently decided to remodel the master bathroom in their home. The two are big baseball fans — and have become big Nationals fans the past few years — so they decided to have their bathroom customized with a Nationals theme.
The bathroom was done by Case Design/Remodeling, Inc., a company in Bethesda with whom they had previously worked.
Here are some of the features of the bathroom:
- - Custom Go Nats shower curtain
- Curly W logo and stadium tiles in shower
- Green glass tile on the floor to resemble grass
- Tile shaped like home plate in front of the vanity
- Rectangular-framed tiles that form batter’s boxes
There are more pictures of the bathroom below, including the baseball-themed batters box in front of the toilet and vanity.

Six bats purchased at Nats Park adorn one wall. One of the bats was broken by Danny Espinosa during a game.

The two actually grew up supporting different teams. The woman was a Mets fan while the man was a Red Sox fan. After moving to DC, they began following the Orioles and local minor league teams because the Nats hadn’t moved to the area. They attended a few Nats games when the team moved to DC, and they became bigger fans in 2010. They have traveled to spring training to watch the club. In addition to the custom Nats bathroom, the woman has a customized “Natitude” dress, and they have a Nats doormat and umbrella stand as part of their home.
Pretty sweet bathroom huh?Google+
