Ben Roethlisberger suffered a hand injury in the Steelers’ game against the Saints on Sunday when he was hit while throwing a pass.
The Steelers were up 3-0 towards the end of the first quarter when Roethlisberger completed a pass on 3rd-and-8 to Antonio Brown for 21 yards. Big Ben was hit by Curtis Lofton in the hand and was grabbing his hand afterwards.
Big Ben even threw the ball to backup Bruce Gradkowski, who for a moment was looking like he was trying to warm up:
The Steelers ran the ball on five straight plays after Roethlisberger appeared to injure his hand. He threw two interceptions after the injury and was missing high on many of his passes for the rest of the game.
