CJ Anderson answers every question with ‘we played terrible’ (Video)

Apparently answering every single question with the same word or phrase during your postgame press conference is the new thing for NFL running backs.

The latest was CJ Anderson, who went with the phrase “we played terrible” during his chat with reporters after the Denver Broncos lost to the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night.

CJ-Anderson

Anderson wasn’t exactly terrible, but his team was. The second-year running back rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown and caught eight passes for another 55 yards. However, the Bengals were in control throughout much of the game thanks to four Peyton Manning interceptions, one of which was a pick-six to Dre Kirkpatrick.

I suppose Anderson’s “we played terrible” stunt wasn’t quite as bad as what Marshawn Lynch pulled earlier this week or Arian Foster talking about being the best teammate he can be, but I’m sure it was enough to annoy reporters.
