Arian Foster returned to Houston Texans practice Wednesday after missing a few workouts, and he decided to finally speak to the media for the first time since last season ended. But Foster wasn’t exactly enthusiastic about talking to reporters and instead went the old Rasheed Wallace route.
Foster answered nearly every question — 11 in total — the same way: “I’m just trying to be the best teammate I can.”
Regardless of the query, Foster would not be broken from his pattern, which became humorous after about the third or fourth question. And in a way, by having a bizarre media conference like that, Foster does make it easier for his teammates because now nobody will focus on them.
