When hardcore bodybuilders are using a lot of drugs, they can have problems sleeping, which is when the body heals and builds muscle. Taking GHB puts them into a deep sleep which accelerates the healing process and also encourages the release of beneficial hormones. It's crazy and dangerous but the stuff works.
