DeAndre Hopkins makes pathetic attempt to recover fumble (Video)

The eye in the sky catches it all when it comes to NFL tape. And the tape does not produce a pretty picture for DeAndre Hopkins.

The Houston Texans lost to the Indianapolis Colts 33-28 on Thursday night and saw their comeback attempt end abruptly on a lost fumble. Ryan Fitzpatrick was sacked and stripped on the second play of the Texans’ last drive. The ball was out there on the field and the only Texan near it was Hopkins, who acted like the ball had cooties.

Christ, Hopkins. That was an embarrassment. I’m sure the coaches and teammates won’t let him hear the end of that “effort,” nor should they.

I never expected Fitzpatrick to produce a 91-yard touchdown drive in two minutes, but you don’t want the game to end like that.

DeAndre Hopkins fumble

Look at D’Qwell Jackson diving in there head-first like the game is on the line (which it was), while Hopkins is still deciding if he wants to get some grass stains on his pants. Sheesh.
