I’m with you, Donovan is one of my favorite players. On my QB study I did last week, he was in my “stud QB” category with Brady and Manning. But his problem has been health the last three years. Unfortunately he can’t help the team from the trainer’s table.

I’m just sayin..he was the 4th of the 2nd tier qbs. the eagles just got the 36th pick from the trade with the cowboys so it was kind of a “free pick”..plus we’ll have to wait two years to see.. what if the Eagles win the superbowl? McNabb is out? doubt it. I gotta say tho McNabb gets treated like he’s on the Aaron Brooks/Eli Manning end of the spectrum instead of the Peyton Manning/Tom Brady end where he actually is.

while it does seem suspect that the Eagles took Kolb where they did folks gotta consider some things. Andy Reid works well with qbs. Grooming Kolb to take over for an injury prone McNabb might be what he’s up to or he could use Kolb like he did AJ Feeley. Feeley was originally drafted by the Eagles in the 5th rd in 2001. Reid made him look good, traded him to the dolphins for a 2nd rd pick, and ended up getting Feeley back.. I wouldn’t be surprised if Kolb was traded for a couple of picks in a few years.
