Shane Ray arrested for marijuana possession
Former Missouri pass rusher Shane Ray picked an awful time to get arrested.
Ray, who had 14.5 sacks last season for the Tigers, was arrested in Kansas City, Mo., early Monday morning and cited for marijuana possession and driving in the wrong lane.
Brandon Kiley of KTGR reported the news and shared a screenshot from the online arrest report showing what Ray was booked for:

A report from NFL Media’s Albert Breer also says Ray failed a drug test early in his college career:
Also, according to info from 5 NFL teams, Shane Ray failed a drug test early on in his career at Missouri. That comes back to haunt him now.

In addition to the drug issue, Ray injured his toe in the Citrus Bowl and already was moving down draft charts as a result. This arrest certainly will give teams even more pause before drafting him.
