Tom Brady not planning to watch Super Bowl

Tom Brady upsetTom Brady was obviously feeling pretty crummy after losing the AFC Championship Game to the Denver Broncos on Sunday. He was so down about the loss that he told WEEI on Monday that he probably won’t watch the Super Bowl, which will be between the Broncos and Seattle Seahawks on Feb. 2.

“I don’t have much of a rooting interest, truthfully. Those games are hard to watch,” Brady told WEEI. “I don’t see myself sitting down to enjoy a football game or watch it. Our season is over. Truthfully, I could care less about watching a game. That’s pretty much how I feel.”

In the same interview, Brady shared his thoughts on Richard Sherman’s antics and expressed his disapproval.

“I approach the game and I have respect for my opponents. That’€™s the way our team always plays. We win with graciousness, and when we lose we can do better. Some teams don’€™t always do that or that’€™s not their program.”

We know that Brady does like watching football when he’s not playing, so it’s not like this is typical for him. I’m sure he took the loss to the Broncos hard, as he should have. But if I had to make a guess, I’d say he ends up watching at least some of the Broncos-Seahawks game.
