Snoop Dogg wants Mike Tomlin to fire Todd Haley (Video)

Snoop-DoggThe Pittsburgh Steelers took some time to get going on offense Thursday night. They were shut out in the first half before figuring things out a bit and scoring 21 in the second. It may only be the preseason, but Snoop Dogg is already calling for some drastic changes.

Snoop, who is apparently a Steelers fan in addition to all of his other bandwagon loyalties, posted a video on Instagram urging Mike Tomlin to fire offensive coordinator Todd Haley. He used some very choice words.

“Man, the Pittsburgh Steelers need a new offensive coordinator. This guy sucks,” Snoop said. “Coach Tomlin, this is Snoop Dogg, man. Fire that motherf—er and get us a real offensive coordinator. We ain’t won a playoff game since we had this motherf—er, man.”

This is Haley’s third season in Pittsburgh. The Steelers were 20th in total offense last season and 21st in 2012. They have been far from an offensive juggernaut during his time with the team, but they haven’t had many weapons and have had some bad luck with injuries. If the Steelers struggle to score again this season, Snoop will probably get his way.

Snoop Dogg goes off on Donald Sterling in Instagram video, calls him a redneck

Snoop Dogg InstagramSnoop Dogg went off on Clippers owner Donald Sterling in a video he posted to Instagram on Saturday, not long after audio surfaced of Sterling allegedly making several racist comments.

Snoop gives it to Sterling with a profanity-laced tirade just like he was writing an updated version of an NWA song, and anyone with at least a little hatred towards Sterling had to have enjoyed it.

The language is obviously NSWF, so be careful. And we do have to make one point here: though we love it when people give Sterling hell for his comments, isn’t Snoop continuing the same practice he has problems with by referring to the owner as a redneck?

C’mon Snoop, you can do better than that.

Snoop Dogg now a UCLA fan?

Snoop Dogg UCLA

Is Snoop Dogg the new Lil’ Wayne? The rapper/entertainer has always been a USC fan and was so closely associated with the program, a report said he helped recruit running back Silas Redd to the Trojans. But now he apparently feels comfortable repping the UCLA Bruins.

UCLA football coach Jim Mora tweeted the above photo on Tuesday, along with a message talking about the “Bruin Revolution”:

Yasiel Puig parties with Snoop at Playboy Mansion after All-Star snub

Yasiel Puig Playboy mansion Snoop

Yasiel Puig may not have been selected for the MLB All-Star Game, but he did manage to score an invitation to the Playboy Mansion on Monday night.

The Los Angeles Dodgers rookie spent the first day of his All-Star break attending the 8th annual Bear Trap Entertainment (BTE) All-Star Celebrity Kickoff Party at the Playboy Mansion. He mixed it up with several fellow athletes and entertainers, including music stars Snoop Dogg Lion and Chris Brown.

LBS attended the event and saw Puig all over the place rubbing elbows with other famous athletes. He had a friend/assistant take several photos of him with people, and some of the photos were posted to the slugger’s Instagram account.

Snoop was pretty faded at the event, but he did get into a batting stance opposite Puig for one of the photos they took together, making for an awesome picture. Hanging with Snoop and Brown seemed to be the highlight for Puig, who has hit .391 with eight doubles and eight home runs in 38 games for the Dodgers.

Below are several more photos of Puig at the event. Here he is with rapper Chris Brown and Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller:

Snoop Dogg to Aaron Hernandez: ‘Keep ya head up! We prayin 4 ya’

The New England Patriots, Muscle Milk, and other powerful brands may be trying to distance themselves from Aaron Hernandez, but that does not mean the 23-year-old has no endorsers left. On Thursday, Snoop Dogg posted a photo of himself and Hernandez on Instagram and had a message for the former Patriots tight end.

“Keep ya head up!!” Snoop wrote. “We prayn 4 ya.”

As Deadspin pointed out, Snoop recycled the photo from four months ago when he and Hernandez were apparently hanging out together at a club. Hernandez’s wallet may have gotten thinner, but it looks like he has been able to retain at least one of his most high-profile fans.

Snoop Dogg throws out first pitch at White Sox game, Tebows (Video)

Rapper/actor/entertainer Snoop Dogg threw out the first pitch before the White Sox-Twins game on Thursday, and celebrated with style. Shortly after tossing a blazing heater a bit high, Snoop struck the Usain Bolt pose, and then he got down on one knee and “Tebowed.”

We knew the rapper was a football fan, but who knew he liked Tebow that much? Snoop is also proving to be one of the most versatile sports fans around. From hockey to soccer to basketball and baseball, the guy loves it all.

Hopefully his performance at The Venue at Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Ind., later that night went as well as the pitch.

Here is an up-close look at Snoop in his White Sox outfit before the game:

Snoop Dogg Sports Alex Ovechkin Jersey

If ever a sports fan could be considered an equal opportunity bandwaggoner, it would be Snoop Dogg. This dude is all over the place, at every sports event, and willing to support any team. He’s tight with the Beckhams, tight with Matt Barnes, and he’s been seen wearing Kevin Love, LaMarcus Aldridge, Harrison Barnes jerseys, and everything in between. Now CBS Sports shares with us that Snoop was wearing an Alex Ovechkin jersey at a recent concert in Baltimore:

Wearing the jersey didn’t bring the Caps any luck on Sunday — they lost to the Lightning in overtime. Normally I’d say that Snoop is showing some disrespect to Mario Lemieux and his Penguins, but like I said, the guy plays to the home crowds. Still, nothing will ever top this when it comes to rappers wearing jerseys. Nothing.
