Kiyomi Cook – Ex-Oregon soccer player is Marcus Mariota’s girlfriend

Marcus Mariota is about to become one of the most popular athletes in the state of Tennessee, but we have a warning for the interested women: Hands off — he’s taken.

Mariota, who dated high school sweetheart Nicole Watase even at Oregon, moved on from her almost two years ago and has been dating fellow Ducks student athlete Kiyomi Cook.

According to her athlete profile, Cook is a senior from Gresham, Ore., and was a midfielder for the Ducks soccer team. Cook played in 15 games as a senior and scored her first career goal last season. She netted five points during her playing career, so she clearly wasn’t as decorated as an athlete as Marcus.

Still, the two are doing so well that Cook was in Hawaii and accompanied Mariota to his draft party:

What’s funny is that get-to-know-you sheet Oregon soccer posted about Cook last year. At the time, she said the celebrity she wanted to date was Mariota. Were they already in a relationship at the time, or did that come along later? If it was the latter, then that’s pretty cool her dream came true. It certainly was a much better answer than the one she gave her freshman year when she said Trey Songz.

Cook’s Twitter account is understandably private, but she definitely seems like a fun and outgoing girl. Good luck to them.
