Security Sits Back and Enjoys a Brawl at Angels Game
While Michael Vick was busy being responsible and hosting a 4th of July bash, a match-up of David vs. Goliath was taking place at Angel Stadium. No, I’m not taking a shot at the Kansas City Royals, although the Angels did beat them 11-0. I’m talking about an enormous guy in the stands fighting someone literally half his size. I actually had to watch the video a couple times before I noticed the best part — security just watching the whole thing go down. In Philadelphia you get Tasered if you run onto the field. In Anaheim you’re allowed to get all of your punches in before being escorted out of the stadium. In case you missed it, the guys in the yellow with the headphones standing by the field watching the entire confrontation are security staff members. They’re already being recruited to officiate NHL games.
