Donovan McNabb Plays Air Guitar, Scares Cowboys Fan

Donovan McNabb was all smiles before Philly’s NFC wild card playoff game with the Cowboys. That was until the game started and Dallas’ defense pressured him all night to the tune of four sacks and several hurries. Before all the harassment began, McNabb was rocking out in the tunnel as he walked with his teammates onto the field at Cowboys Stadium. He also was messing around with a Dallas fan. It was a funny spectacle, well worth a watch:

McNabb’s going to take a lot of heat for his lackluster performance in the game but it’s hard to put too much blame on him — the entire team was dominated by the Cowboys for the second straight week. Philly’s offense never got anything going and really only had one big play for about three quarters (Vick’s TD pass to Maclin). Much of the credit goes to Dallas’ defense for the pressure they apply to the quarterback. Remember, that Cowboys defense not only harassed McNabb all night, but they also were the first and really only team to stop the Saints passing attack. Philly’s defense didn’t play too badly but they gave up too many big plays and were put in bad spots by the inept offense. Dallas looks like a legit Super Bowl team the way they’re playing.

I hope McNabb catches hell for acting stupid while everyone else was focusing on the game.
Romo and Witten still catch flack for going on vacation(something most guys do) instead of focusing on
their game despite it being a bye week.

The Uggles have been good at selecting guys at the skill position, not so much in the trenches. Andy Reid could have
Chris Johnson in the backfield and he’ll still pass it 70% of the time. Predictable = loss in the NFL.

That is funny??? Funny isn’t the word I would used to describe McNabb’s behavior before or after
    the game…..

Yeah, that was funny. I think there’s a big difference between going on vacation before a playoff game and just getting loose by playing an air guitar. Their imbalanced play calling is a killer

Really? most guys go on vacation? You would go on vacation the week before the biggest presentation of the year? you would go on vacation when you had a meeting that was make or break for your annual company financials? Romo and Witten should never have taken that week off. At least not publicly. It was one of the worst possible things a QB in a high profile city could’ve done before the most important game for the franchise in years.

The second worst thing would’ve been to play air guitar and look goofy in enemy territory. but a philly QB would never do that … oh krap, that wasn’t a nightmare … a philly QB just did.
