Monmouth Quarterback Alex Tanney Makes Trick Shot Video – Are They Played Out?

When I first saw the Johnny McEntee trick shot video two weeks ago, I thought it was one of the coolest videos I had ever seen. The LBS staff was so intrigued by the talents and creativity displayed by the UConn quarterback we had to contact one of the video’s producers and McEntee’s high school coach for more info.

A week later, we posted a video of soccer player Lassi Hurskainen lighting it up with his amazing footwork on the field. As impressive as the two videos were, it’s hard not to feel as if we’re entering the realm of over-saturation with the latest video. From the fantastic college football site Kegs ‘N Eggs comes this video of Monmouth quarterback Alex Tanney who decided to show that McEntee isn’t the only QB with some serious chops. Check it out:

Alright that was cool, but now I’m almost angry because it detracts from the novelty of McEntee’s video. You almost get the feeling that any quarterback could sit out there all day attempting those shots until he finally gets it. We’re posting this one, but that’s it. These videos are now officially played out.
