All-Star Game brought back terrible memories for Dodgers fans
The ending of Tuesday night’s All-Star Game brought back some terrible memories for Los Angeles Dodgers fans.
The NL All-Star team rallied to tie the All-Star Game thanks to a 2-run home run from Scooter Gennett in the bottom of the ninth, which sent things to extras. But the tie game didn’t last long.
Houston Astros sluggers Alex Bregman and George Springer teed off on Dodgers reliever Ross Stripling for back-to-back homers to start the 10th. Twitter — and Dodgers fans — reacted about the bad memories that brought up.

Why is the October rerun on the TV

The tweets were all a reference to what happened in the World Series last year. Houston and LA combined for the most homers in World Series history, with Houston setting a record with 15 homers and winning it all. Bregman hit two homers in the World Series, while Springer personally terrorized Dodger pitching with five homers. This was just like watching a replay of what happened in October.
