Bryce Harper to children at camp: ‘Be as sexy as you can!’ (Video)

Bryce Harper took a portion of his day off on Thursday to spend time with young ballplayers in the Greater Washington Urban League. He also donated $2,500 to benefit the league. The fact that Harper is already taking time out of his day to give back to the community at his age is very admirable, but parents may have been left scratching their heads at the message the Nationals star delivered to their children at the one-minute mark of the video above.

“Be as sexy as you can,” Harper urged the young players, who ranged from ages 6 to 14.

Based on the way he wears his eye black and some of the hairstyles he has gone with in the past, we know Bryce is all about the swag. He openly admits that he has been successful because he has a certain arrogance about him, so that is likely what he was referring to with the message. Could he have thought of a better way to express it? Probably, but what were you doing on your day off? I bet very few of you could answer, “Putting smiles on the faces of Little Leaguers.
