Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Dustin May suffered a scary injury Sunday while pitching against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
May was forced to leave in the 4th inning after being struck in the head by a line drive off the bat of Arizona’s Jake Lamb. He was able to walk off the field under his own power.
Scary moment here, but thankfully Dustin May walked off on his own power after being hit in the head by a line drive.

The ball appeared to hit May on the right side of his head and bounced all the way into left field. There was no word on his status.
May is a talented young pitcher with personality, and his MLB career had gotten off to a promising start. Hopefully the situation doesn’t prove serious.
