Report: Indians, Rangers have asked about Carlos Beltran
The New York Yankees are reportedly fielding calls on Carlos Beltran from multiple teams.
The Cleveland Indians and Texas Rangers have reportedly both asked about the Yankee outfielder, though the team remains hesitant to sell.
both indians & rangers have talked about beltran. but they'd have to top the draft choice. plus, trading CB means giving up

Even though he’s 39, it makes sense that Beltran is in high demand. A free agent after 2016, he is hitting .305 with 21 home runs. He could help a contender, and what’s more, he has a history of producing in the postseason.
On the other hand, as Jon heyman notes, the Yankees would be in line for draft pick compensation if they keep Beltran until the end of the season and give him a qualifying offer. Plus, despite their recent moves, they don’t seem inclined to engage in a full-scale firesale. For those reasons, Beltran may well stay in New York until season’s end.
