Josh Hamilton reportedly has ‘turned a corner’ in knee injury recovery
Good news for Texas Rangers fans — Josh Hamilton appears to be coming around in his rehab from a knee injury.
Hamilton was bothered by his knee last season and underwent a procedure on it in November. He was having more problems with it in February, went for second opinions, and ended up having stem cell and other injections on it. But the good news is he appears to be doing better and potentially headed for a May 1 return.
Rangers say Josh Hamilton has "turned a corner" and will start getting out on the field…. Still hoping May 1 is realistic return

Hamilton was traded by the Angels back to Texas in April last year and played in 50 games for the Rangers. His production in the limited time was similar to what he had done in his lone two years with the Angels, as he batted .253 with eight doubles and eight home runs for a .732 OPS.
Considering the Angels paid the Rangers so much just to take on Hamilton, Texas should be satisfied if they’re able to get a few months of production from the former MVP.
