Manny Machado certainly isn’t doing much to quell the rampant rumors about his future.
On Wednesday, an Instagram account named “Baseballoverload” posted a Photoshopped image of the Baltimore Orioles All-Star infielder wearing a New York Yankees uniform.
Shortly after the post went up, Machado himself “liked” it from his verified personal page.

It’s a particularly intriguing sequence of events since the Yankees have generated significant buzz in recent days as a potential trade destination for Machado. The 26-year-old, who will be a free agent after the season, is not expected to remain with the bottom-feeding O’s past the July 31 deadline.
We recently heard that the Yankees would have to part with a specific player in order to facilitate a Machado trade, but it turns out that the four-time All-Star may actually be rooting for them to get it done.
