Los Angeles Dodgers fans can breathe easier after the diagnosis on Max Muncy.
Muncy was hit by a pitch near the hand during the fifth inning of Wednesday’s Los Angeles Dodgers-San Diego Padres game.
The Max Muncy hit by pitch. Looks like it wasn't as bad as Chris Taylor's injury.

Getting hit in that area is concerning because there isn’t much padding over the hand, wrist and fingers, which can easily result in broken bones.
The Dodgers later announced that Muncy had a right wrist contusion, easing the fears of the fans.
Muncy, 29, had struck out twice in the game. He is batting .255 with 33 home runs and a .902 OPS and has played first, second and third base this season. If he misses any time, the Dodgers will probably turn to super prospect Gavin Lux.
