The New York Yankees have played most of this season without superstar Aaron Judge, and they are likely going to begin the MLB postseason without the three-time MLB MVP.
Yankees manager Aaron Boone provided an update on Tuesday, and he said they are “planning” for Judge not to be a part of the Wild Card series.
Aaron Judge is likely out for the AL Wild Card Series vs. Boston. “We’re planning on him not being a part of that,” Aaron Boone said.

Judge had a PPP injection in his right calf during the off-day.
Judge left the game early on Wednesday due to lower right leg tightness, and he was placed on the IL on Saturday.
However, Judge provided some hope for the Yankees and the fans, as he said he hoped he would be back at some point in the postseason.
New York currently has the top seed in the American League Wild Card spot, and there is a huge cushion. That means the Yankees should play the Wild Card series in the Bronx.
Right now, this isn’t the update the team was hoping for regarding Aaron Judge, but there is a chance that he could return for the Divisional Round or the ALCS if they get that far, so it will be something to monitor going forward.
