Media creates Richard Durrett shrine in press box
Several members of the local media created a touching memorial for the late Richard Durrett in the Globe Life Park in Arlington press box on Tuesday night. Durrett, who died suddenly last week of a brain aneurism at the age of 38, was also honored with a moment of silence before the Texas Rangers took on the Detroit Tigers.
As you can see, those who knew Durrett decorated the area where he used to sit with some of his favorite things and items that symbolized his life.
Durrett was a well-liked reporter for ESPNDallas.com. His passing was met with an outpouring of posts on social media from colleagues, all of which described Durrett as a great reporter and an even better man.
