The Pittsburgh Pirates paid a nice tribute to Pittsburgh Steelers chairman Dan Rooney on the field at PNC Park.
Rooney’s name appeared behind home plate at PNC Park during Friday’s game against the New York Yankees.

The team also painted a Steelers logo featuring Rooney’s initials on the back of the pitcher’s mound.

Rooney passed away Apr. 13 at the age of 84. He had been in charge of the Steelers for nearly four decades.
